A Discovery Call is a complimentary 15-to-20-minute "chemistry check" between us. It’s an informal conversation where:
- You share the specific challenges your child is facing or the goals you have for them.
- I explain how the Unknown Canvas methodology can specifically help your family.
- Together we decide if we are a good "fit." It’s a zero-pressure way to ensure that my coaching style aligns with your child's personality and your expectations.
I specialize in coaching for children aged 8 to 14 years. This "tween" and early teen stage is the most critical time for personality development. It is the window where we can shift a child’s mindset from "I can't" to "I can't yet," building a foundation of confidence before they face the pressures of higher education.
Our online sessions are high-energy and interactive—not a passive lecture.
- Live Interaction: We meet via Zoom in small groups to ensure personal attention.
- Dual-Camera Teaching: I use a workspace camera so students can follow the creative exercises in real-time.
- Active Participation: We use the "Human Mirror" exercise and "Virtual Galleries" where children present their work, helping them overcome camera shyness and build public speaking skills from home.
It is a mindset coaching program that uses art as a tool. While your child will create beautiful things, the primary goal is to use the "Unknown Canvas" methodology to explore their emotions, identify limiting beliefs, and build focus. Think of it as "Gymnastics for the Mind" where art is our equipment.
If your child is talented but shy, struggles with "perfectionism," or gets easily discouraged by mistakes, this program is for them. We focus on 100% Responsibility, teaching children that they are the creators of their own "life canvas," which helps reduce anxiety and increase self-reliance.
This is a core pillar of my coaching. Instead of saying "I don't know how to do this," we teach children to say "I don't know how to do this yet." This simple linguistic shift, combined with our creative exercises, helps rewire the brain for a Growth Mindset and resilience.
Absolutely. I believe in "Growing Up Together." Transformation is most effective when the home environment supports it. I provide regular feedback and host family webinars (like our upcoming session on April 12th!) to help parents speak the same "growth language" we use in coaching.
Yes! In fact, group sessions are a core part of the "Unknown Canvas" experience. I offer:
- Group Coaching: Small batches of children (ages 8–14) where they learn from each other, realize they aren't alone in their fears, and build social confidence.
- Family Workshops: Sessions like "The Art of Growing Up Together" where parents and children participate together to bridge communication gaps.
- Individual Coaching: For children who require deep, personalized attention on specific mindset blocks.
It is perfectly natural to feel hesitant! Coaching is an investment in your child's emotional future. Here is how we make it easier for you:
- Attend a Webinar: Join one of my free master classes to see my teaching style in action.
- Low-Commitment Starts: You can start with a single workshop before committing to a full 7-day curriculum.
- The "Art" Advantage: Unlike traditional therapy or tutoring, my sessions feel like a creative hobby. If your child enjoys being creative, they will likely love the coaching process without even realizing they are "learning."
